Key features

Safety

Karters can turn on the spot, to operate in crowded buildings and narrow aisles. The LIDAR laser scanners constantly scan their environment. This enables them to find their way around your plant using natural feature navigation, avoid obstacles and stop safely if there is an object or person in their way. Karters can cope with ramps, doors and lifts.

Navigaton

Karter robots navigate by mapping and recognising existing features in your building, so there is no need for lines or bar codes on the floor, or reflectors on the walls.
WiFi communication between the control system and the robot during task execution allows for continuous execution from start to end point.

Integration

Karter software interfaces with a range of ERP and warehouse management systems.
The Bluebotics platform is also used by other materials handling systems, facilitating integration of solutions from multiple suppliers.

Fast Charging

A charging time is only 10 minutes will provide for 8 hours typical operation.
The Battery Management System (BMS) optimises the charging cycle and the life of the batteries. Our LiFePO4 batteries avoid the fire hazards of Li-ion batteries.

Flexible Platform

All Karters are based on a modular design, using the same batteries, BMS, navigation and safety system.
This platform is extended with model-specific features (lift, conveyor, etc.).
